New Zealand Mussels
New Zealand mussels have a elongated shell that is brownish-green on one end but changes to green at its broad lip. Green mussels are sweet, tender, delicate, plump and juicy. Meat color varies from apricot, females, to cream male. The color has no effect on flavor.
Prince Edward Island Mussels, (PEI)
PEI grown mussels are cultured Blue Mussels. These mussels are clean, sweet and tender.
Whitewater Mussels
Whitewater Mussels are a popular mussel because of it's flavor. They are given an extra year of growth that produces a larger mussel with more flavor and amazing cholesterol lowering enefits.
Long Cove Mussels
The blue mussel has a smooth, bluish black shell, which is elongated and somewhat pear-shaped. The inside of the shell is pearly violet or white.
Mediterranean Mussels
